Terms and Conditions

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By renting a vehicle from Rent-A-Ride Auto LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Renter,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Rental Agreement, and all policies referenced herein.
All renters and authorized drivers are jointly and severally liable.
2. ELIGIBILITY & AUTHORIZED DRIVERS
To rent a vehicle:
Must be at least 25 years of age
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must maintain valid automobile insurance
Only authorized drivers approved by Rent-A-Ride Auto LLC may operate the vehicle.
Unauthorized drivers void all coverage protections and constitute material breach.
3. VEHICLE CONDITION & RETURN
You agree to:
Inspect vehicle before departure
Return vehicle clean
Return with same fuel level
Return in same mechanical condition (normal wear excepted)
Remove all personal belongings
After-hours return does not release responsibility until inspected.
No refund is issued for excess fuel.
4. PAYMENT & CHARGES
You agree to pay:
Daily rental charges
Missouri sales tax
Delivery fees
Fuel replacement
Cleaning fees
Damage repair costs
Diminished value
Loss of use
Administrative fees
Towing & recovery
Attorney and collection costs
5. Late Return Fee
$100 per day.
Returned Payment Fee
$50 or maximum allowed by law.
We reserve the right to charge your card on file for any unpaid balance.
6. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A deposit may be required and applied toward:
Damage
Cleaning
Fuel shortages
Toll violations
Administrative costs
Loss of use
Unpaid charges
Refunds (if any) processed within 14 business days after inspection.
7. DELIVERY TERMS – STL LAMBERT AIRPORT
Airport Delivery (Parking Lot C):
$80 Delivery Fee
Parking Fees at Pick-Up ($8–$25) covered by Guest
Parking Fees at Drop-Off ($8–$25) covered by Host
Renter assumes full responsibility upon delivery confirmation.
8. DAMAGE & LOSS RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for:
Collision damage
Weather damage
Vandalism
Theft
Glass & tire damage
Underbody damage
Interior damage
Total loss
Loss of rental income
Diminished value
Minimum deductible responsibility: $750.
Vehicle may be equipped with GPS or telematics systems.
9. PROHIBITED USE
Vehicle may NOT be used:
For rideshare (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
For delivery services
For towing
For racing
For illegal purposes
While under influence
Off paved roads
Outside United States without authorization
By unauthorized drivers
Violation voids all coverage and allows immediate repossession.
10. INSURANCE
Renters must maintain valid liability insurance.
If required by Missouri law, Company provides only minimum statutory coverage as secondary coverage.
Optional damage waivers, if offered, are not insurance.
11. TOLLS, TICKETS & FINES
You are responsible for:
Parking tickets
Toll violations
Traffic citations
Court costs
Administrative fees (up to $50 per violation)
We may charge your payment method on file.
12. TELEMATICS & GPS NOTICE
Vehicles may contain:
GPS tracking
Telematics
Event data recorders
Data may include vehicle location, mileage, fuel level, and diagnostics.
By renting, you consent to this monitoring.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rent-A-Ride Auto LLC from all claims, damages, liabilities, and legal fees arising from your rental or use of the vehicle.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Missouri law:
We make no warranties of merchantability or fitness.
We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.
15. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
16. MANDATORY ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER
All disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Missouri under the Federal Arbitration Act.
No jury trial
No class actions
Either party may file individual claims in small claims court where permitted.
17. PRIVACY
We may collect personal information in connection with rentals and may disclose information to authorities or service providers as necessary for business operations or legal compliance.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
