1. Initiating the Reservation

• Select the Vehicle & Dates: Click the “Rent a Car” or “Book Now” buttons to view our real-time inventory of reliable economy sedans, mini-vans and SUVs. Simply enter your desired travel dates to see exactly what is available for your trip.

• Found the perfect vehicle? Select it and choose your preferences. You can opt to pick it up at our Local location in Ballwin MO or select our convenient STL Airport Parking Lot C Delivery so your car is waiting for you when you land. Custom delivery location can be accommodated if it is within 15 miles radius of our pickup location. Delivery fee applies.

• Checkout Questions: The system prompts the customer to answer preliminary checkout questions to gather basic information before they submit the request (e.g., full name, driver age, desired delivery location, and dates for rental).

2. Customizing the Trip

• Select Add-ons: The customer can browse optional line-item add-ons provided and simply click “Add to Cart”.

• Delivery Options:  the guest can choose to add delivery to their reservation at this stage.

3. Insurance and Driver Verification

• Select Coverage: Wheelbase’s embedded insurance, the guest will be presented with different coverage packages to choose from.

• Driver Verification: Once a package is selected, a prompt will appear asking for the driver’s information. Wheelbase runs an instantaneous backend background check to verify the driver’s license and ensure they are at least 25 years old.

• Premium Services: Guests may also be offered additional premium services or trip insurance, which they can opt into by providing their address to generate a coverage membership ID.

4. Payment and Confirmation

• Secure Payment: The guest completes the checkout by entering their credit card details through Wheelbase’s secure, built-in payment processor.

• Booking Summary: A summary page displays an overview of the booking, including the exact pick-up address and time.

• Electronic Signatures: Rental Agreement has e-signatures enabled, the guest will be prompted to electronically sign the Rental Agreement right from the summary page.

5. Post-Booking Management

• • Guest Dashboard: After booking, the customer gains access to a dedicated Guest Dashboard.

  • Trip Management: From this dashboard, the guest can make future payments, add additional drivers, review their reservation documents, and eventually leave a review.
